At least 175 people were killed and 200 other were wounded in four suicide bombings in northern Iraq on Tuesday, international media reported.
Four suicide bombers attacked a town, home to anancient minority sect in the Yazidi communities.
The bombers have been driving fuel tankers, when they blasted themselves.
This is one of the worst single incidents in the four-year-old war.
Iraqi army Captain Mohammad al-Jaad said at least another 200 people were wounded in the bombings in separate Yazidi neighborhoods in the town of Kahtaniya, west of Mosul.
The suicide truck bombings were directed against members of the Yazidis sect, a primarily Kurdish sect that worships an angel figure considered to be the devil by some Muslims and Christians.
