A 41-year-old man was arrested Thursday after the police found out he stabbed to death his cousin near the municipality building in Bulgaria's village of Mladovo three days ago.
The victim Georgi Ivanov, 46, who was serving as a security guard, went to check the building over a signal of a breach when he noticed the man and called for reinforcement.
The killer Ivan Ivanov understood his cousin was waiting for the police, stabbed him 14 times throughout his body and run away from the spot.
The body of the victim was discovered by his colleagues about 10 meters away from his official car in front of the municipality building.
The murderer made full confessions for committing the crime. He has previous sentences for burglaries and spent 24 years in prison, the Director of the local police Hristo Georgiev announced.
