A day after burying the victims of the floods and with the sky blue and clear, the people from the town of Tsar Kaloyan brace up for preventing the spread of infections.
The dead bodies of seven people, including that of a child, were recovered the previous day in Tsar Kaloyan, which was the worst-hit by the torrential rains settlement in north- eastern Bulgaria.
A fifty-year-old woman is still missing and the municipality says it is too early to lift the state of emergency that was declared at the beginning of the week.
The gravest problem that the town faces now are the hundreds bodies of dead animals.
In order to prevent the spread of infections people are piling them up on platforms outside the borders of the settlement. Two trucks, loaded with the bodies, have already headed for the incinerator in the town of Shumen. Another truck with a capacity of twenty tons is on its way to the village.
The town of Tsar Kaloyan was worst hit in the floods, which followed torrential rain on Saturday.
The floods came after weeks of sizzling heat, drought and wildfires.
