Bulgaria's volleyball team grabbed the title at the Youth Men Balkan Championship 2007 in Turkey.

In the final game the young sportsmen defeated Montenegro's squad 3:1 (25:22, 22:25, 25:20, 25:19), losing their first game in the whole tournament.

Except the golden medals, the Bulgarians gained several individual distinctions - for most valuable player (Ivan Kolev), best forward (Tsvetan Sokolov) and best libero (Dobromir Ivanov).

The home team, enjoying the support of their fans, ranked third after winning against Macedonia 3:0.

The next challenge the young volleyball players will face is the forthcoming World Championship in Morocco, which is to start in three days.
