Bulgarian Rightists Discuss Party's Chairman Nominations

Bulgaria's right-wing Democratic Forces Union is to discuss the nominations of the runners for the party's chairman post at a sitting on Wednesday.

Two main candidatures have been put forward so far.

The first runner, Stefan Ivanov is the chairman of the party's municipal councillors group in the capital city of Sofia. His candidature was backed by 15 municipal organizations.

The second nominee, Drago Mihalev is the chairman of one of the formation's regional representations.

The new leadership will be chosen on July 15 at an official conference.
