French police busted a prostitution ring that has been operating with Bulgarian women since May 2006 in the region of the north-eastern town of Reims, Le Journal du Dimanche newspaper reported.
Five people were arrested, including the two bosses, their aides and a prostitute.
The masterminds of the scheme, aged 35 and 37, were not living in France, pulling the strings from Bulgaria.
At the beginning of June, however, they arrived in France and torn apart by wrangles decided to settle scores on the site.
Police tracked the two men down and arrested them.
The prostitutes were questioned as witnesses.
The women, aged between 22 and 29, were all recruited from Southern Bulgaria.
