Three people were killed and another four injured after a car and a minibus crashed near a village in the coastal district of Varna.

The accident occurred late on Friday in the village of Stefan Karadzha. Following the crash the minibus toppled over, hit a tree and fell into the nearby gulch.

Three men, aged between thirty and fifty, died on the spot.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in the town of Varna and their lives are out of danger.

All the casualties were travelling aboard the minibus. They were construction workers on their way home.
