Regional Court in Bulgaria's second largest city of Plovdiv sentenced Tuesday two Roma brothers to a total of 32 years in prison for committing a double murder.

Krassimir Manolov, 26, and his brother Svetoslav, 23, will have to serve respectively 17 and 15 years jail sentences.

The crime was committed after the defendants' mother and uncle were injured by members of a rival family over a long-standing feud.

The two brothers just took a gun and a rifle and started shooting at their rivals injuring four of them. Two of the victims died later in a local hospital.

The sentence could be appeal in up to 15 days.
