About 70 houses were flooded in the village of Trudovets, Western Bulgaria after the torrential rains that poured over the residential area Monday afternoon.

The water level of the river in the village overflow as it was raining for almost two hours.

Emergency crews are still trying to evacuate all the residents.
Heavy rainfalls are expected all across the country in the next few days, the meteorological services warned.
