Bulgaria's hardliner centre-right party Democrats for Strong Bulgaria demanded on Friday the resignation of seven cabinet ministers.
The seven ministers are Rumen Ovcharov (economy), Rumen Petkov (interior), Emel Etem (disaster management), Nihat Kabil (agriculture), Dzhevdet Chakarov (environment), Radoslav Gaidarski (healthcare) and Emilia Maslarova (labour).
"If Bulgaria doesn't get new ministers, it will result in managerial chaos," the DSB statement read.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev, who attended the parliament's session on Friday, refused to comment on the media speculation regarding a cabinet reshuffle in the near future.
Stanishev will have to appoint, however, at least one new minister, after justice minister Georgi Petkanov resigned earlier this week, citing fatigue and poor health.
