Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin is to join a two-day meeting, part of the European-Asian forum, which will be held in Hamburg.

The meeting of the foreign ministers is the first one Bulgaria takes part in since its accession to the EU.

The officials will debate on the opportunities for closer political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two continents.

Among the topics discussed will be also the preparation for the summit to be held in Beijing in 2008.
