Over eight hundred journalists from 80 media will gather at the international press center at the National Palace of Culture to cover the first MEP vote in the country.

Foreign media interest in the MEP elections is considerably high considering the fact that those are the first such elections ever to be held in Bulgaria. The media centre expects 38 foreign journalists from 18 media.

Among them are BBC, AFP, Reuters, Associated Press and the TV channel of the European Parliament.

No international observers will monitor these historical elections.
