Politics | May 12, 2007, Saturday // 00:00

Bulgaria and Turkey decided on a new project treaty that would drop the licenses needed for transport of goods through the border of the two countries,

The decision was reached at a meeting of the Bulgarian-Turkish Committee on International Transport.

If the treaty is signed the Committee will have the chance to limit the number of times trucks can be sent empty in one direction only to return full.

Starting July 1, 2007, all types of goods transport through the Bulgarian border will be allowed until the new treaty comes into effect.
