A sculpture of socialite Paris Hilton, apparently dead and undergoing autopsy, has gone on display at a New York art gallery, the New York Post reported.
The goal is to show teenagers the dangers of drink-driving and the choice of Hilton "rings a bell, it brings it home. If one person is saved, that's awesome," author Daniel Edwards said.
Hilton was sentenced last week to 45 days in jail for violating her probation on a previous drink-and-drive offence.
To hammer the point home, the life-sized statue of pregnant Paris, sprawled in a provocative pose, is clasping a cocktail glass in one hand and a cellphone in the other, with her entrails and twin foetuses displayed in a pile next to her.
The statue will be sold after the end of the exhibition, but it featured no price tag and prospective buyers were told to call the gallery.
