Famous Bulgarian citizens and political figures founded Sunday a civic association named "Signal for Life".

The aim of this association is to improve the road safety, the founders said. Signal for Life will try to attract the public attention and will work for active cooperation between institutions and other civic organizations in the area of road safety.

Bulgaria's former president Petar Stoyanov, Dancho Karadzhov and Vladimir Zahariev from the Signal band, the musician Ventsislav drenikov, the car racer Emanuil Yankov, journalists, other musicians and politicians have already joined the association.

At the Sunday ceremony Vladimir Zahariev was elected chairman of the initiative committee.
