Bulgarian Radio Gives Employees Reflective Vests for Road Safety

Bulgaria's Darik Radio has joined the global road safety initiative by giving free light-reflective vests to its employees.

The vests, which a new law will soon make an obligatory accessory in every car, will be given to everyone in the radio who owns a driver's license.

Once the law was accepted at first hearing the price of the vests increased noticeably, reports say. MPs are expected to also nod the law on second hearing and pass it so many drivers prefer to be safe then sorry, fearing that traffic policemen will start slapping fines for the lack of a vest before they know it.
