The MEP pre-election campaign of Bulgaria's socialist formation is to be officially opened Friday evening in the seaside city of Varna.
The Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev will take part in the event.
The campaign is to cover 5304 towns and villages all around the country.
The gay pop-folk idol Azis, the folk singer Nikolina Chakardakova and many other Bulgarian music stars are to participate in the concerts, which will be held at each place.
The eurythmics group of the famous Bulgarian coach Neshka Robeva will also be part of the pre-election performances.
Bulgarian voters will head to the ballot boxes on May 20 to elect for the first time their representatives in the European Parliament.
The coalition featuring the Socialist party, the senior partner in the ruling three-way coalition and the frontrunner in the polls before the election, has drawn the 8th spot.
