A total of five parties and two political clubs joined Tuesday the agreement for the support of the MEP list of candidates of Bulgaria's European Socialists Platform.

The signing of the agreement took place in Sofia's Sheraton Hotel. It was signed by representatives of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, Social Humanism Movement, Agricultural Union Alexander Stamboliyski, Roma Party, the Bulgarian Social Democrats Party and the political clubs Trakiya and Ecoglasnost.

Bulgaria's PM and chairman of the Supreme Council Sergey Stanishev attended the official ceremony together with Alexander Tomov, leader of the social democrats and the leader of the list Kristiyan Vigenin.

The EP members elections are a serious test for the whole Bulgarian society, PM Stanishev said and added that Bulgaria's people must prove who they are and what they aim at.
