Bulgarian Sailor Missing in Black Sea

The second mate of Bulgarian ship Milin Kamak, Ventsislav Ivanov, 40, has been declared missing, the Bulgarian company that owns the ship said on Sunday.

His disappearance was noticed on Saturday when the ship was due to enter the port of Feodosia in southern Ukraine.

Ukrainian authorities are now investigating the case, while their Bulgarian counterparts will do likewise when the ship returns to Bulgarian territorial waters.

The ship is owned by Balgarski Morski Flot and sails under the Bulgarian flag.
