Bulgaria's Social Policy Minister Maslarova and her Turkish counterpart Murat Basesgioglu agreed Friday on exchanging experts and useful practices between the two countries.
"The Turkish companies, which work in Bulgaria have some difficulties in finding qualified staff in certain spheres. On the other side, there are 150 Bulgarian firms that already function successfully in our country," Minister Basesgioglu said.
Minister Maslarova has also announced that in 2006 Bulgaria paid more than USD 1 M pensions to its emigrants in Turkey.
The money are being paid in accordance with an agreement, signed in 1998.
The Turkey's official informed that in the previous year about 200 Bulgarians were issued labour permits for working in Turkey.
Bulgaria's Social Ministry is to take a census of the Turkish citizens, who live in the country.
