Police in the Bulgarian coastal town of Burgas is hunting down another three suspects over Monday's shooting that left four people injured.

The shooter, local businessman Ivan Panayotov, made no attempts to escape and turned himself in to the police after shooting down two of his attackers and mistakenly wounding another two passers-by with stay bullets.

The men wanted by the police have been identified as Todor Andonov, and another two, aged 21 and 22. They are suspected to have fled the crime scene right after the shooting.

Ivan Panayotov said he shot down two people in self-defence and wounded with stray bullets a 20-year-old student from the town's tourism college and a 73-year-old woman. One of the wounded is said to be a close ally to suspected major drug dealer Dimitar Zhelyazkov, nicknamed Mitio The Eyes.

Panayotov claims he was attacked by Kaloyan Stoyanchev, 21, and another 19-year-old man, who managed to escape.

Police says the shootout came in revenge after Stoyanchev's brother ended up beaten up in a local disco club. Not long after the accident Panayotov received threats for his life and an attempt to set his house on fire was foiled.
