Bulgaria's Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev and his Greek counterpart Mihalis Liapis signed a joint transport protocol on Monday.

The two officials discussed the future construction of a railway line, which will connect Bulgaria's Varna and Greece's Thessaloniki ports.

The meeting was held in the framework of the three-day ofiicial visit of a Greece's delegation to Bulgaria.

Later in the day Greece's transport and communication minister is to confer with the Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev as well.
