All foreign air carriers have moved their flights to Sofia Airport's new terminal, with only Greek Olimpic Airlines left to do so on Friday.

The 14 foreign companies that service regular flights from Sofia Airport all switched to Terminal 2 before the end of March, as the airport demanded.

The first to move were local Bulgaria Air, Hemus Air and Viaggio Air, as early as December. Rossia Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Alitalia, and the Czech Airlines were the first foreign flyers to relocate to their new Sofia home. They did so by the middle of March.

The big migration was noted in the last ten days of the month when Aeroflot, Malev, Air France, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Poland's air carrier, Air Malta, British Airways and Aerosvit all moved to the new terminal.

Terminal 1 will from now on only service charter flights and low-cost airlines.
