Bulgaria and Turkey saw their business relations going stronger over the last several years with overall trade exchange towering to USD 3 B last year, Turkey's chief negotiator with the European Union said in Sofia.

Ali Babacan, who is paying an official visit to Sofia, conferred with Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin.

Turkey's investments in Bulgaria last year totalled USD 600 M, while Bulgaria's business brought to its south-eastern neighbour USD 20 M.
