Death Toll in Russian Mine Blast Set at 75

A methane gas explosion in a Siberian coalmine on Monday killed 75 miners, Russian media reported.

A total of 83 people have been already rescued from the Ulyanovskaya mine in Siberia's Kemerovo region, Interfax news agency said.

The fate of another 42 people remains unclear.

When the blast occurred, there were 200 workers under ground, latest information shows.
