Sofia Military Court of Appeal launched Wednesday the reconsideration of the colonel Alexander Petkov's case, who was given three years of suspended sentence and five years of probation for sex abuse by the court in the town of Sliven.

Petkov was found guilty of malfeasance in office and sexually molesting women in his brigade two months ago.

Rumors in town had it that a sex-corps has been formed in the thirteenth tanker's brigade in Sliven for the needs of its high-ranking guests.

Three of the accusers were heard at the today's session.

The colonel said he is innocent but was prevented from telling the whole truth by "some people, who are breathing down his neck".

"I am going to laugh best because I will laugh last," Petkov added.
