Bulgaria's budgetary program is expected to be highly estimated by the EU member countries, the Finance Minister Plamen Oresharski said Tuesday during the discussion on the Bulgarian economics.

"The risks that Bulgarian economics could face probably will be also pointed at the summit on March 27," the minister added.

The inflation percentage has increased in 2006 because of the higher excises, imposed on the tobacco and the alcohol drinks. It is expected to return to normal in the next two years.

The foreign investments in 2007 are likely to remain as high as those, made in the previous year. In 2006 their value set at EUR 4 B, minister Oresharski reported.

He underlined that the main premises for Bulgaria's economic development are its institutional structure, country's EU membership, the structural EU funds, the growing capital market and the easier procedures of taking bank credits.

The weak points of the country's econonomics are the health care and education systems as well as the public administration, the finance minister announced.
