Sofia City became the host of the first international forum on security and fight against crime on Wednesday night.

The event that took place in the Sheraton Hotel, was officially opened by the European Commission Representative in Bulgaria Michael Humphreys.

The forum was organised by Bodyguard-Fire-K Company together with the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF).

The forum aims at gathering state institutions, businessmen and NGOs to discuss practices in fight against crime and appealing them join their efforts in achieving better level of society's security.

Representatives of security firms from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Poland and Greece shared their experience in providing transport security and coping with drug and human trafficking and prostitution.
