Medics from several prestigious hospitals staged a one-hour protest in Sofia on Wednesday.

Doctors and nurses from the emergency institute Pirogov as well as from "St. Naum", "Sheinovo" and "Queen Joanna" hospitals publicly announced once again they insist on solving the health care system's problems.

"The protest should not be politicised, we just want to be paid attention to the crisis," the medics said.

"These actions will continue until our demands are fulfilled," they added.

The protest joined only those medics, who had no patients at the time of the event.
