Japanese-Bulgarian Cultural Exchange Center To Open in Sofia

Japan's Ambassador to Sofia Koichiro Fukui will sign Monday an agreement with the headmistress of the William Gladstone School in Sofia, Velichka Stoycheva, for the creation of a cultural exchange center at the school.

The EUR 70,312 project will be financed by the Japanese government.

It will include the rennovation of the school building, along with the addition of new classrooms, a conference hall and a ceremonial tea-room.

The school will be equipped with tatami, tea-cups and utensils for a full Japanese tea ceremonial.
