Bulgarian Little Boy's Killer Arrested

The killer of the five-year-old boy, found dead on Thursday in an abandoned house in the northern Bulgarian village Boynitsa, was arrested later in the evening, the police announced.

The murderer is the 22-year-old Plamen Valchov, who lived in the same village. He made full confessions.

It was ascentained that before killing the boy, the culprit has tortured him as there are marks of violence on the victim's body .

The criminal does not suffer from mental disorder, as the authorities have previously reported.

The killer has been twice sentenced for thefts committed.

The victim Martin Slavchev, who is of Roma origin, has been missing since Wednesday night. He went outside the house, where he had been on a visit to acquaintances together with his mother and grandmother and did not come back.

The investigation of the case still continues as the police is looking for the crime motives as well as for eyewitnesses.
