Twelve people have been killed in two bus bombings near the Lebanese mountain town of Bikfaya, north of Beirut.
One blast had hit a bus full of passengers, causing casualties, an army spokesman said.
He said it appeared from early information that the second blast had hit another bus in the same area.
It was not immediately clear what had caused the explosions, which occurred a day before the second anniversary of the assassination of former prime minister Rafik al-Hariri.
Bikfaya is the hometown of former president Amin Gemayel, whose son Pierre was assassinated in November.
