The Walk of Fame in Hollywood will be closed on February 11 for a rally in support of the five Bulgarian nurses, sentenced to death in Libya.

The event will take place in the section in front of Kodak Theatre where the Oscar Awards will be conferred in just about a month.

The organizers - Bulgarika Foundation and Obzor newspaper - said that it was very difficult to get a permit for staging the event there especially just before the best world actors' awarding ceremony.

The rally will bring together the Bulgarian communities in Los Angeles, California, Nevada and Arizona, all local Bulgarian organizations, businessmen and orthodox churches.

It is part of the initiative "You are not alone" that is upheld by millions of people around the globe.
