Bulgarian Mobster Brother on House Arrest Enters Hospital

Krassimir Marinov, dubbed the Marguin, went to the hospital close to two months after he was released from jail and placed under house arrest due to his poor health.

Despite lawyers' and experts' claims that Marinov has to undergo urgent lifesaving surgeries, the alleged mobster took his sweet time entering the hospital.

Marinov and his younger brother Nikolay are believed to be the most powerful underworld bosses in Bulgaria, following a swathe of contract killings in the last couple of years.

Sofia City Court accepted the medical experts' report on the condition of Marinov which states that his health has aggravated seriously since being in jail.

Krassimir Marinov suffers from discal hernia, haemorrhoids, colitis and sick kidneys. His illness had achieved a stage, which no longer allowed for him to stay behind bars so he was released.

He will have to wait even more, however, for Bulgaria is currently in a state of flu epidemic and only emergency surgeries are performed. He would not be operated until the epidemic clears unless his health deteriorates rapidly.
