Mild Quake Swings Western Bulgaria

A slight earthquake was registered in western part of Bulgaria at 2.51 p.m. local time on Thursday.

The quake's epicentre was ten kilometres eastward from the capital city of Sofia.

The citizens of the village of Krivina, near Sofia, felt the tremour, measured 2.5 on the Richter scale.

There are no immediate reports of victims or damages.
