Turkish police announced the arrest of a man suspected for the killing of prominent Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink.
Earlier, Turkish authorities said they were looking for Ogun Samas, who was reportedly identified by his father after seeing his picture on television.
The governor of Istanbul Muammer Guler said police captured Ogun Samas on a bus in the Black Sea port city of Samsun.
Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan held late on Saturday evening a briefing confirming the arrest.
Dink, 53, had written extensively about the mass killing of Armenians by Turks during World War I. He was shot dead outside his newspaper offices in Istanbul on Friday.
Governor Guler said Samas, whom he said was born in 1990, will be brought to Istanbul for questioning. Six other people will also be questioned in the morning, he added.
The governor emphasized that the suspect had been seized after 32 hours, and as a result of the pictures caught on the security cameras.
