Although all eyes are on the all important Barcelona - Werder Bremen tie, the followers of Chelsea and Levski have remained loyal to their clubs chanting them on British soil.
After a calm first half, Chelsea took the lead of Levski with a goal of Andriy Shevchenko in the 25th minute. This was Andriy Shevchenko's his first Champions League goal for Chelsea.
Seven minutes before the final whistle blues substitute Shaun Wright-Phillips fired home his first goal for Chelsea to ensure they finish top of the group.
Although the tie had no importance for Levski Sofia, as they are dead last in this year's group and have absolutely no points, their first entry into the Champions League has made history in Bulgarian football.
Levski had little to play for, but respect. They were drawn with three very good teams, and took this as a learning experience without losing heart.
Having qualified even after losing in Bremen, Chelsea finished first with a win on Tuesday evening.
Chelsea weren't able to top the group last season because of Liverpool's presence in the same group. As a result of that, the Blues drew group leaders and eventual winners Barcelona in the first knockout round.
Eventually, Chelsea top Group A ahead of Barcelona, with Werder Bremen heading into the UEFA Cup after the Spanish rolled over 2-0 the German club. Bayern Munich went through as winners of Group B with Inter Milan second and Spartak Moscow taking the UEFA Cup place. And in Group D, Roma will qualify in second behind Valencia.
