UK experts have checked Arsenal FC's new stadium for traces of the highly radioactive polonium-210, because they suspect that some of the people connected to former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko's poisoning may have visited it.
Those people probably watched the UEFA Champions League game between the team and Moscow's CSKA on November 1, sources claim.
In the meantime, some UK media claim that the hours of Italian academic Mario Scaramella, who met Litvinenko in a sushi bar the same day, are counted. He has been accepted to hospital after traced of the substance were found in his urine and while some reports say, he is in a stable condition, others put his chance of survival at zero.
Since Litvinenko's death on November 23, a number of UK locations and planes have tested positive for traces of the radioactive material.
