Bulgaria's Holy Synod has called for obligatory theology classes to be introduced in schools all over the country, Darik News revealed.

The clergy met with local intellectuals to discuss the increasing number of cases of violence among adolescents.

Journalists weren't allowed at the meeting, but Varna Metropolitan Kiril told the press that the concept for religious instructions in schools would be ready in a month and that the religious education would be obligatory for students starting the next academic year.
