Members of the Youth European Movement in Bulgaria raised a symbolic wall in Sofia to mark the 17th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and protest against the upped prices of the Schengen visas.

The people from countries that are not members of the EU, or haven't started their accession negotiations still have to pay for visas if they want to visit EU countries and this is a wall across Europe in itself, protesters believe.

They are planning to serve a protest letter to Finland's ambassador to Sofia Kauko Jamsen, as his country is currently presiding over the EU.
