News, comments, analyses and covers on EU topics will be included in the expanded and updated Bulgarian-language program of Deutsche Welle.

The new two-hour broadcast will be launched October 29 under the motto "Let's give the radio back to the audience." It will be aired every day, except for the weekend, from 7 to 9 am.

"The broadcast will bring together all significance events worldwide. It is our wish to let the listeners make their own choice and mind," said Rumyana Taslakova, head of the Bulgarian section of Deutsche Welle.

"We are independent of governments, parliaments, sponsors and lobbies. The new broadcast will hopefully meet the growing demand for information for Bulgaria and the world, especially now on the doorstep of the European Union," she added.
