Muslims, offended by Pope Benedict XVI's stance on Islam, have struck two churches at the West Bank on Saturday. Despite the fact that the Vatican and world leaders tried to explain that the Pope meant no offence to Islam, apparently many disagree with him and are willing to spell out their message in blood. A group under the name of "Lions of Monotheism'' has claimed responsibility for the firebombs that have merely scorched the walls of the two churches. During his visit to Germany, the Pope quoted 14th Century Christian emperor Constantine who said the Prophet Muhammad had brought the world only "evil and inhuman" things. These words infuriated Muslims all over the world, although the Vatican said the Pope wanted to make clear that he rejected violence motivated by religion.
