Experts from Bulgaria's public health inspection have told media that they are trying to hunt down an eyeliner that can cause cancer.
Only one such eyeliner of the Rimmel Professional series has been intercepted in the Danube city of Ruse, which is quite alarming, local Utro paper reported.
This may very well mean that all the rest have been already bought up, or that shopkeepers are hiding them so they can start selling them once the nation-wide search is over.
The dangerous batch number 322 of the UK-produced eyeliner contains the ingredient N-Nitrosodiethanolamine, which is a suspected human carcinogen.
The inspection is also looking for five other products - four cremes and a powdered hair dye imported from the Republic of South Africa, which causes severe allergy reactions and skin rashes.
