Bulgaria Fails to Raise Interest for Fear Factory

Society | August 9, 2006, Wednesday // 00:00

Industrial metal legends Fear Factory have sold only 277 tickets in Bulgaria, and the planned concert had to be called off.

Organizers at New Music Agency had put out 3,000 passes for sale, and the show was due on August 11.

Those die-hard fans who have paid for the gig can return their tickets over August 29-September 29, the music agency said.

After several major gigs in Bulgaria this summer, interest for international artists seemed to subside.

New Music Agency had already cancelled a drum'n'bass extravaganza with Goldie, as well as the performance of GZA The Genius of the Wu Tang Clan. Both upcoming events went almost entirely unnoticed.
