An investigation revealed that Reuters photographer Adnan Hajj has darkened the smoke plumes and added two flares on two of his photos.
A freelance photographer, associate of Reuters news agency, has doctored two pictures, taken right after an Israeli raid on Lebanon, BBC reported.
The agency has withdrawn from sale 920 photos.
The decision was taken after an investigation revealed that photographer Adnan Hajj has obviously darkened the smoke plumes and added two flares on two of his photos.
The photographer denied the allegations, saying he had just "made some corrections".
Doctoring the content of the photos is considered a serious violation to the agency's rules, according to a Reuters representative.
