Bulgarian World figure skating champions Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski will remain on the ice for one more year.
The news was revealed by the champions at a special press conference in Sofia. We have the capacity and will have the will to do it, Maxim explained.
The months after the World championship were full with emotions for us. We had many meetings with our fans and everywhere we went the people wished us new successes. Every day we changed our mind. Still, due to the big support we decided to stay, Albena added. Besides we could tease the competition, Maxim pointed out.
We are happy to continue our support to Albena and Maxim in their efforts to achieve more in the figure skating and especially in their determination to defend their world title in Japan, said Garry Radcliffe, Director of Products and Services of vivatel, Bulgaria's third GSM operator.
The champs revealed that they will continue their training in a week or two and that they will also aim at the European title that is missing in their collection. When asked what made them stay both Albena and Maxim agreed that they still have some tricks up their sleeves for the audience.
For the biggest fans of Albena and Maxim vivatel is offering unique video clips showing their dances and special voice rings.
