Providers of business emails spamming deliverers who have not agreed to receive them will be imposed fines ranging from BGN 250 to BGN 1500.

This is written in the new E-Trade Act passed Friday at second reading in Parliament.

Repetitive spamming will be sanctioned with BGN 500-2,500 for natural persons, and BGN 1,000-4,000 for legal entities.

Under the law Bulgaria's communications regulator will cooperate with EU's analogs on the issues of e-society and e-services.
