A Bulgarian man was struck by lightning and died on the spot, media reported. Marin Dimov, 54, was out with the sheep herd close to the northern village of Plenimir, when a thunderstorm broke out. He had been soaking wet, and he even told another man who had come up to him to take his sheep home that his boots were filled with water because of the pouring rain. All of a sudden, a lightning hit Dimov and he collapsed. The man he had been talking to, suffered burns and was taken to the hospital.
