Bulgaria Busts EUR 1.5 M Worth of Heroin

Bulgarian customs officers have nabbed about 16 kilos of heroin late Tuesday night, media reported. A train travelling from Bulgaria to Serbia was stopped for a check at Kalotina border checkpoint and authorities discovered six packets of heroin stashed in the ceiling. Police still don't know who tried to traffic the drugs out of the country. The heroin is worth about EUR 1.5 M.
