Bulgaria Restores Iraqi Ambassador

Bulgaria has restored its diplomatic representation to Iraq after its newly appointed ambassador Valeri Rachev handed in his letters of accreditation to Iraqi foreign minister.

Hoshiyar Zebari expressed Iraq' gratitude for Bulgaria's cooperation in the process of reconstruction of the country.

As part of the multinational coalition forces in Iraq, Bulgaria has partaken in the post-war state's re-building and also the training of Iraqi experts in various fields of social life.

In turn, Ambassador Valeri Rachev reiterated Bulgaria's resolve to foster bilateral relations and stick to its Iraqi commitments.
